Life Bridging Works seeks to provide a hand up out of poverty through its works rather than engendering a hand out mentality. Any bridging activities established are designed to be self sustaining; with the only exception being if other long term benefits to life can be directly deduced e.g. sponsorship programme of disadvantaged children through education.
Life Bridging Works operates under the principles of the Christian Religion. It has a particular burden to help fulfil the great commission that Jesus gave to his followers to go to all nations (Matt 28v16-20), and in particular copying the apostles Pauls desire to go to those where Christ is not yet known (Romans 15v20). Therefore we seek to go where few have gone before, working in the unreached tribes of East Africa in what are often very deprived and dangerous situations. It is important to note that whilst Life Bridging Works driving motivation and reason for these works is in response to God’s love and commands, any works that it engages in a local community will not be exclusive but will be for the benefit of all regardless of gender, religion, colour or ethnic background.
